I just wanted to let everyone in on a little known source of styrene. I worked as a merchandiser for years and almost all of the signage we installed was made of styrene. All of the old signage was thrown out as well as any unneeded signage. Some of this styrene had printing on both sides, but most was single sided. Most merchandisers should be willing to give the old signage to you as it saves them the trouble of taking it to the back of the store to dispose of it. I remember throwing some away that was probably 2 and 1/2 feet wide by 5 foot long. So, the next time you are in a store, look for someone replacing signs. Good hunting.
That’s a good idea but I could see some stores being funny about giving away “official” xyz signage. They’d be too worried that it would fall into the wrong hands.[(-D] I guess it doesn’t hurt to ask.
Welcome to the forum by the way.
