Hello
I have a BLI cab forward with very good sound. I just what more of this “Squealing brakes” when I slow down.
I run only in “analog”, no DCC, so I dont have the function key to push on. To hear it at all I have to go at full speed (V-max 12V) and then slow to near stop (V-min8.5V). I want it to go on when I
m switching at low speed and then stop, or even better every time I slow down.
Is it possible to make any analog programing to hear more “squealing”?
Thanks for all help on this

I thought we couldn’t get the breaks squeal on analog. Ain’t that feature just for DCC?
Hi, I have a pair of E-7’s from BLI and they are great either in DCC or analog. You have to be going over a scale 35 miles per hour then slow down a lot (but not to idle) and they will squeal down to around 10-15 mph. I have also tried various settings on inertia. ( if you have a sidekick it is a lot easier to get into programming mode in analog)
Maybe it had help to set inertia in older BLI locomotive? This never Cab forward have no “inertia set function” because of some disagrement with MTH of some patent for the constant run function.
At my MR club we have “homebuilt” walk around throttles with only front and back key and its very easy with them to get the locomotive in to programing mode, so it
s no problem to change the settings.
I’d like a program that makes flange sqweels around sharp curves.
