I live on the CSX mainline in Cincinnati Oh, and there is quit a bit of action here. I wonder if instead of just one web cam, Why not a lot of other sites? We would have a selection of where to view. Like lets say here in Cincinnati on the north end of Queensgate Yard or another here in Glendale or your fav spot (wherever that might be) Imagine what we’d have if say a web cam at the Horse Shoe Curve with all that steam or early diesels? Imagine an A-B-A set of Tuscan red PA1’s running up the Curve with the Metropolitan? Or fill in the blank. What are we waiting for? From Flat Wheel Junction John Bacon
I’d love to see a web cam at the Welches juice plant in Erie Pa. They have 4 mains and I think 2 branches running next to the plant. I saw a train about every 15 minutes when I was up there. Most traffic I’ve ever seen! All kinds of locos and they where FLYING by.
On the trains .com webcam- I just saw my 1st 2 trains yesterday and another one this morning.
The small picture is a disapointment, but I thought it was great that I finally caught some action.
It would defenitly be cool to be able to veiw more than one at the same time.

There already is a web-cam on Horseshoe Curve. Off hand though, I don’t remember the URL.
I would love some choices. I also wish we could kinda click on a pic to blow it up to see better details of what we are looking at! Having a crows eye view over an active yard would be nice also! (as mentioned) Maybe the UP(?) bump yard in Nebraska???
My oh my.

Modeling the RAILS system…
the Rural Allied Industrial System, where any and all may join the collective, share and lease equipment and ROW use for the betterment of mankind and profitability of all .
While I have papers to prove I’m not at all “all right in the head”, the RAILS SYSTEM is a world all inside my head, but its ok, they like me there.(I think)
Here’s the link to Horeshoe Curve and heres a link to a remote control camera in Ft. Madison, IA.
The Horseshoe Curve cam is not lighted so you won’t be able to see anything on that until tomorrow.

PS I have a few more links if anyone is interested.
