Motorizing multiple Carnival rides

Anyone have suggestions as to how to motorize 6 Carnival rides. The motors that are provided with the rides, work OK, but they are cranky and very noisy. My thought is to hitch them all to a Microwave turntable motor, with multi-belts. But, is there a better method?

I cannibalized an old cassette player, and used its 12 volt motor for such things. I would motorize everything separately, not use one motor for everything.
