MP added EMD-style angled cabs to several of their GE U-boats and Dash 7s after wrecks. The older model GEs look kind of neat with the angular cab, something that GE didn’t get around too until the Dash 8s. GE kept building U boats, Dash 7s and several very early Dash 8s with round cabs even though EMD stopped doing so with the GP/SD35 in 1963.
