Sounds like a good series. I have been expanding part of my layout and that has caused the need for “rehab” on the older areas. I will be watching for Chuck’s articles with great interest.

Dean, did you ever find out if your son was onboard one of the trains from our episode in Field?
My first thought was: please do something to that ceiling! Visible rafters and floor boards? Exposed wiring? Some kind of false ceiling will cut down both the noise and the dust. It would also focus the concentration on the model, not distract from it. It would be a challenge with the layout in place but that is the sort of issue lots of us have faced.
Have to agree with Luke, that ceiling definitely needs attention! Should have been done first,but…anyway. Love the funky music with the bass,did you guys get Flea (from RHCPs) to come in and do that for you?! Keep up the great work David and Cody!
Luke, I was thinking the same thing about the ceiling. Even something simple like a dark cloth stapled to the rafters would help.
One suggestion (you probably thought about this already): put trees vertical. That’s how they grow in nature. I’m looking forward to watch this series.
