MRR Web Site

From following the old forum for a long time and noticing the negativity expressed I know this will not be a popular comment. But here goes anyway. I tried the new MRR website and I found that MRR did a great job. It is very easy to browse, has a lot more information, videos and photos of model railroading. The forum is indexed and also easy to get around or browse. The down time for installing the new site was very short. The final touch is that all of this is still free.

Hats off to Trains.com and Model Railroader for a job well done.

Thanks Doc

It is nice to see some appreciation for our hosts expressed finally! However when ever there is a gathering of two or more model railroaders there is a minimumu of three different opinions and a plethora of mitching and boaning about what they dislike without any concencus being reached.

Thank you Kalmbach publishing for giving us a place to “hang out”!!

As a professional web designer, I agree with you.

The new MR web site is much easier to navigate and read – and it’s faster too. Great job!

Since I figured out how to post pics I am very happy with the new forum. It is like almost everything elece, you have to run it a whike to get the bugs out. How many of you have built a model RR and it worked perfect the first time and every time you run it. NOT ME. Mike

I agree completely. The new website is fantastic, and so much faster than the previous site. I think more of the negativity is directed at that for many re-registration was difficult. I had this problem, but it seems that they have tried to resolve this problem.
