This is one of my favorite top ten layouts so far. I am building a shelf layout in my room that I based on the books that Lance has written. I would love to see operating videos of his layout.

Awesome layout tour with simple yet compelling scenes!
Exceptional realism. One thing I particularly appreciated was the plausible speeds of the locomotive. An older era of model train videos, including many of the Keller videos, seemed to assume that we’d become bored with scale speeds and thus thus videos show trains, even local switchers, moving at improbable “Keystone Kops” speeds. Lance’s speeds are far more believable. And the complete lack of wiggle and shake on the rolling stock is also a tribute to craftsmanship.
OK, I suspect the big claw was involved here. How did you turn the locomotive? Just poking fun - really nice layout with a lot of exceptional details. Well done.
I am a big fan of Mr. Mindheim and this video was a real treat. I hope there will be more videos of his layout and modeling techniques in the near future.
