Has anyone succesfully taken the sound unit from an MTH crossing flasher set (30-11014) and married it to their crossing gates (30-11012)? The gates look good, but need some sound to liven them up. Thanks!
No, but I have taken their sound unit to the Lionel 153IR controler and Lionel’s crossing gates (6-14098). Works like a dream, but the Lionel manual has a flaw in it. It’s rather involved so I will explain it only if you’re in need.
