Hello all,
I’ve just obtained a MTH Z-4000 transformer for my USA O gauge trains. I live in the United Kingdom and this stuff is almost non existent!!! Can anyone provide the original user guide, by post, e mail, or whatever - I’ll pay!. I can’t get a good output from the track circuits and have no starting point without the manual.
Cheers, Tony.

Tony,
What voltage and frequency are presently being used in Britan? Most USA household items, including toy train transformers, are rated for 110-120v AC, at 60 HZ. I recall reading somewhere that Europe (including Britan) uses a 50HZ frequency. Correct? If this is so, I highly recommend contacting MTH and seeing what they have to say about using a Z-4000 in that environment. It could very well be fine. It’s just that I’d rather safe than sorry.
