Yo, Aggro, you aren’t surprised, are you? Weathering that good, I’D have bought them, but they’re a little too contemporary for my big, noisy teakettles. Nice work, as usual!
Tom [:P][:P]

Congrats Aggro, I never had any doubts with your excellent work, hope you have continued success.

Best wishes,
Karl.

Aggro! For that price you should have cleaned them up and given them a fresh coat of paint[:(!]

Seriously, I’d say you’re well on your way to a great thing!!

Well done and good luck with your future endeavour. I maybe signing up for your school of weathering Heights

Regards

Fergie

Well congradulations. It was good work. If I’d been trying to sell something on Ebay, it would’ve ended up costing me. It did last time.

Happy for you, Aggro. Nice to know that someone else appreciates your work!! [^]

Glad to hear it Aggro. Good luck in the future… I’m sure you’re not done. [tup] Dave

Gurr…Now I’m mad at myself. I had every intention of getting that BNSF hopper. But guess what? Yep, you guessed it, I forgot. Ey Aggro, when can we expect some more?[swg]

Did you figure out how much you made on each? After the actual costs of the model? How long did it take you to weather them? Divide the profit made by the hours to weather to see if you made much money per hour. And then tell us if it was worth it!

If you made less than your hourly wage at your full time job, then I would say it wasn’t such a great deal.

When I used to do stuff on the side (such as wedding photography), I wanted to make at least as much as my regular job paid. Since I would be doing in on my own time, I also figured I should get my regular wage at time and half, because this is what I would have made on my job. Most hobby efforts like this don’t really pay much per hour!

Unless of course, it was his out-of-era stuff he was dumping and he like doing the work anyway.

Aggro,

You have the product. You just need to work on your marketing to bring in the bigger bucks. Did you see what Mellow Mike did?

You’re a little ray of sunshine Bob, you could of at least congratulated him on his successful sales before trying to take a pin to his bubble.

Valid and justified points I’ll agree but as for the timing… well.

Just my [2c]

Congrats again Aggro.

Have fun & be safe.
Karl.

First point. I don’t have a day job right now. [:(] So any money I get is a good thing.

Second point. Mouse is right. All of those are from my private collection and enhanced slightly.

The new models I have in the works right now have about 7 to 10 hours in each of them. Watch for them in the future.

Thanks for the encouragement everybody!

If you decaled etc., those on your own, I would of sold them for a higher price—not being a stuck up at all. But I get your point—you wanted to sell them, so understand why they’re cheap. Why am I saying this–I hate when I am picky! ERR!

OK, Congrats on your selling! Hope it keeps going well for you!

Richard

Oh, Aggro…Be careful if you weather any UP stuff…They might charge you for tarnishing their logo[:D][swg]

AggroJones, when does tutoring start? Very nice work man.

Awesome, but I’m not surprised…

Can I have a dollar?[:p]

AGGRO,

What nama do you sell under on Ebay??? If you can’t post it here then email it to me.

SOme good points here, Aggro. I hope you continue your snowballing reputation which will generate demand: at $30 I think you are selling them cheap.
Set an hourly rate, say $10. “Optimise your processes” so you can crank 'em out in say 5 hours. Add the cost of model, decals and paint. Then set the reserve at $70 or whatever - work that good, someone will pay it.
If that price is out of reach for many, tough - you aren’t a charity. MM has already proved the buyers are there - make them pay true value

Cheers
Rob

LMAO !!!

congratz aggro .

hey , did you remember to pay any applicable licence fees ?
kidding ![:D]
