N.C. Transportation Museum and Fire Up 611! offer restoration tours
Having these tours seems like a good idea. If you can only buy tickets at the museum it would be hard to plan a trip only to find out that the tickets might be sold out before you got there and you could not get a tour of the shops. If you could order shop tour tickets ahead of time to have with you, you would know they wouldn’t be all sold out for that day.

As great an experience this tour will offer visitors, I hope this will not present distractions and delays to the workers on Class J 611. When there are tours at work sites, some people may feel like animals at a zoo.
