n scale concor auto rack question

I have a couple of n scale concor autoracks that i would like to replace the stock rapido couplers on, but am not sure where or how to go about it. Would my local hobby shop have info on the parts to use, or is concor now Lifelike, now Walthers [I think] the place to go?

Any help would be appreciated.

Con-Cor still lists the autocarriers on its website. I would try contacting them.

Are you looking to replace the rapidos with rapidos or do you want knuckle couplers? If your looking to do the later your best bet is to replace the the trucks and couplers with Micro Trains units.

MTL has changed the part numbers but basically you want the Barber Rollerbearing truck with the long extention.If my memory is still working the old number was 1038.

MTL does have a conversion chart on their website.
