N scale information?

Is there a forum that is more geared towards N scale? P.S. any ideas as to good switch maciens / motors for atlas custom line turnouts?

www.nscale.net is DA BOMB!!!

There are also N scale specific forums on TrainBoard and Atlas.

http://forum.atlasrr.com/

http://www.trainboard.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi

The Railwire also has an N scale specific forum, with slightly less traffic than the other two:

Each one has it’s own personality. You kind of have to try them out to see which you prefer.

Thanks for the leads.[:)]

Dont forget to check out www.thegauge.com
It is not N scale specific although it does have a specific N scale section. There are alot of top quality folks in this forum and it is far friendlier than most(present forum excepted of course[;)]
Many top authors on MR subjects are there ready to help you.
It includes a ton of quality information on a variety of subjects including but not limited to
Trackplanning and layout,Operations,DCC and wiring(all things technical) Scratchbuilding and the list goes on and on.
Help is readily available by some of the top modelers in the field and the friendly casual atmosphere is a place you may easily decide to call home.
This is not being directed only to you but to all the members here who may not be familiar with this excellant resource.
Stop on by ,kick of your shoes, put your feet up and try it on for size. You might just find a cozy lil niche and a pile of new friends with the same goals[:)]

I think you left out a hyphen. Try:
www.the-gauge.com

The original link takes you to some commercial site not involved with trains. But thanks for bringing up The Gauge, I had forgotten about that site.

As a long time N scaler (nearly 37 years ), I prefer this forum. There are plenty of N scalers here. It is also nice to have input from people in other scales and to see what they are doing. Many modeling questions are not scale specific.
