Hello… I am new to this site and a little new to model railroading. i used to have a fairly decent sized HO layout in my grandmothers basement that i used until she passed away and the house was sold. Now i have an apartment and decided to get back into it. This time i have decided due to space i am doing a 4x8 n scale layout. I am doing a pretty modern suburban/city style layout and really liked the look of KATO’s new elevated banked curves and viaduct so i decided to use all kato track. currently i have all my terrain laid out, all my track laid out, main lines yards ect. Now i am just looking for advice on a few options.

Should i bother wiring everything with blocks ? I only have 2 analog engines everything else i have is dcc ready. should i just wire a each main line to a control and use DCC on the layout or are the other benifits for blocking off a layout or maybe a yard ?
