Who’s going to attend?

Last year’s show was fantastic.

Hoping to make it down there, but ive been to columbus (delaware) 4 times in 7 days for my future job with DCSO, its getting tough to keep making the 4 hour drive (2 there and 2 back) If i can get some rest,I may make it down. I think it would be awesome to go to an all N scale show. Yesterday, I made a stop at Hobbyland, was able to catch a Geep from the OHCR running long hood forward across i270e near broad st. DCSO in Delaware is situated right next to a double main NS line… Is that the Sandusky District? I followed it up 23N to Marion on Google Maps. Down the road theres an area of a “short-line” that has two switchers and some older passenger cars, two of which i remember being Illinois Centrals.

Yes, that is correct.

This is probably the Ohio Railway Museum in Worthington, but I’m not exactly sure which way you mean by “down the road” from Delaware.

Its in Delaware, off E. Winter Street. Across from the Depot thats a florist now. The “private” or Shortline railroad actually sits across the tracks from the depot, but the trains are across the road. Its a old switcher, some passenger cars, then another small old switcher. Im going back Thursday, Ill get pics this time.

Ok, that isn’t the Ohio Railway Museum. I think I’ve seen those items next to the old station in Delaware, too. Not sure who owns them or where they came from.

I’ll be there! Just converted to N scale last year, so I need to build up my rolling stock.

So, how was the show? Im curious as I didnt get to go this year but definately plan on it next year. Hope to hear some feedback!

Quietstorm, I am a member of the Queen City N-Gineers and just got back from the Nscale weekend. I am in easten Ky so it’s a 3 and a half hour drive but IMO it was well worth it.

I was there all three days for set up ,running trains, and tare down. I would have to say I love this show it’s all N scale and the venders are very very nice even most will come to your club layout and talk hours with you. I was able to find some very nice deals on sunday mid day. I spent around 300$ and was happy with what I got for the money.

This year was the second year and I have been to both and will be going back each year. The food it great satruday night and the auction well I did very very good at. I was shocked that I got a sd70mac BNSF Kato for 41$ and then right after i got it i was able to get the same one but diffrent number for 50 $ both where bran new. A few others in my club got very good deals there to.

We had our layout at 19’x34’ had a great time meeting other clubs from five states. There was ok amount of people that came to look at the layouts but it was geared for the modelers. Over all I had a very enjoyable time . Randy

Well, I will defintely make it to the show next year. This year, just too much going on with my new job, but the deals you got, seem really really good! I cant wait til next year for this show to come, just be around all the n scale vendors and layouts instead of all scales and lil n scale! Thanks for the post Randy!
