1.This Pass was used by a western transcon

Offhand, I can think of the following passes WITH the “pass” as part of their name on western transcons. There are also a lot of “hills” and “summits” in the name (e.g., Sherman Hill, Moor Summit). I don’t know anything about TV history, so I’ll leave it for someone else to sort out:
CN: Yellowhead Pass
CPR: Kicking Horse Pass, Crowsnest Pass, Rogers Pass (no apostrophe in this!)
GN: Marias Pass, Stevens Pass, Elk Park Pass
MILW: Pipestone Pass, St. Paul Pass, Snoqualmie Pass
NP: Bozeman Pass, Mullan Pass, Lookout Pass, Stampede Pass
UP: Monida Pass, Cajon Pass (via Santa Fe)
WP: Silver Zone Pass, Sand Pass, Beckwith Pass, Altamont Pass
SP: Donner Pass, Beaumont Pass
D&RGW: Tennessee Pass, Marshall Pass, Cumbres Pass, Fremont Pass, La Veta Pass
ATSF: Raton Pass, Glorieta Pass, Campbell Pass (rarely used name), Cajon Pass
(Note: Rollins Pass was never used by a transcon. The Moffat Road had replaced it with the Moffat Tunnel by the time the Moffat Road was connected to the D&RGW via the Dotsero Cut-off to form a transcontinental route.)
I’ll give you two more clues here.
Marion was a town near this pass. And Thompson was a waterway near the pass as well.

Haskill Pass, Mt. Eddie Haski(e)ll - “Leave it to Beaver” Original (abandoned) Great Northern route?
Jclass, you are so clever. I agree. Your clue about abandoned help me confirm your answer.
jclass got it!
Haskell Pass was the Great Northern’s original route thru Kalispell and west thru the pass.It was completed in 1892 and abandoned in 1904 after the completion of the line change thru Whitefish.
Have a good one.

And actor Ken Osmond played the role of Eddie.
