I think its time we name the little plastic engineers Lionel now puts in steamers. One set of names for the 4-4-2 engines. Another set of names for the engineers in bigger engines. Does MTH now have the plastic engineers. Whats the history of plastic engineers? Did they actually get any training or did Lionel take short cuts and just glue them to the seats like an impatient babysitter? I could just see it now on the front cover of CTT, “The History of Plastic Engineers”, we go deep and ask hard questions.
