Does any one know anything about NCE DCC units. Its one of two units my LHS sells. I would to know if anyone is using them, how good are they, and if they are gonig to have the power to operate several trains at once. The other is Bachmann EZ command and I was told not to get it.
The NCE system is very good, and highly expandable. I assume you are talkign about the PowerCab. It has more power than the Bachmann out of the box, plus you can eventually turn it into a full PowerHosue Pro system as your layout grows. There’s no contest here, the NCE is a far superior system to Bachmann’s and in the long run you will be much happier.

The review gives my initial thoughts and impressions of the Power Cab, as well as pictures, questions, comments, pros, cons, issues and answers to some of the issues. I think it’s a pretty fair assessment of the Power Cab. Some folks have said it was helpful in their decision making process - whether they purchased the Power Cab or not. I have used both the E-Z Command and Power Cab systems on my layout.
Bottom line: You need to find the DCC system that is right for YOU and will best fit YOUR needs.
