Need an atlas n scale FAST motor

I would like to buy an ATLAS n scale FAST motor with the black housing. Needs to be from the 49700 to 49729 series.

I’m not even sure Atlas still makes the “fast speed” motor since the introduction of the scale speed motor several years ago…

Whether or not Atlas still makes “fast” motors for their N scale locos, a good number of Atlas N scale locos were manufactured with “fast” motors, so the OP may be looking for a used one, perhaps to speed match a consist. Fast motors can be distinguished from “slow” or, more appropriately, “scale” speed motors. You can find used ones on eBay from time to time. One just recently sold.

Rich,Atfer checking one of the N Scale shops(BLW) I found the normal speed motor and its out of stock.

I suggest looking on e-Bay for a motor or try one of the major N Scale forums.
