Need day pass info for Chicago EL trains as where do u get one?

Had to walk several blocks to a Marriott just to buy a weekend pass for the EL. Its easy for the METRA just buy it on board. But no…unless things have changed you cant buy a pass at the EL stations.

Erie Lackawanna doesn’t exist anymore but you can buy various versions of the Ventra fare card at any L station. More information can be found at the CTA website, http://www.transitchicago.com

thank u the old way was a real pain…Now how about EL service into union station?

As I mentioned earlier, Erie Lackawanna ended passenger service to Chicago (Dearborn Station) in 1970. However, the closest stop on the L to Chicago Union Station is Clinton on the Congress (Blue) Line.

Buy a Vistra Card from any machine and load the pass you want.
