Need pick-up trucks & atv's

I have been looking for some pick-ups & 4 wheel ATVs for my HO scale layout, since I am modeling a sorta farming community. The only thing I can find are Atlas, and are pretty much the same, just different colors, and cost around $9.00 each. I have not been able to find any ATVs. thanks,

If you haven’t got one already, cough up the funds and purchase a 2006 Walthers catalog. (Cost? ~$20-25) It’s a warehouse of MRR product. Even if you don’t order through them, it still makes for a good reference book for what is currently available on the market. Having said that, I perused through the Walthers catalog and couldn’t find an ATV vehicle. I’ll see if I can’t do a Goggle search and see what I can come up with.

Here’s an ATV made by Wiking. You might be able to find it cheaper some place else, but just did a quick search and found it here. Never heard of the store before.

I think Busch makes some older style pickups. Not certain about any others though.

Life-Like had some late 1970s-early 1980s Ford pickups awhile back. They aren’t the best models…but are OK once you repaint them. The biggest change you can make to them (other than a new paint job), is to throw something in the bed…to cover up that huge sprue mark :slight_smile:

Wiking makes a nifty little four-wheeler. The Wiking part number is 023 01 29. Walthers lists it as 781-2301 at $17.99. Some of the online stores will have it for less. It’s a nice model.

1981 Chevrolet (various styles) from Trident
1994 Ford F-350 Crew Cab from Trident
1950 Chevrolet 3100 from Busch (also available as a farm truck with stake body)
1947-68 Dodge Power Wagon from Busch (also available as farm truck with stake body)
1956 Ford F-100 coming soon from Model Power
1977 Dodge W200 from Roco and Promotex (out of production but you can still find them around)
1966 Ford F-100 from Walthers (out of production but check eBay and swap meets)
1956 Ford F100 from Life-Like Scenemaster
1979 Ford F-150 from Life-Like (long out of production and hard to find)

There are also various white metal and resin kits on the market.
