Well as usual BNSF has changed things up. They decided to put the new units on a empty coal train at Maxon Iowa. They have been added to a E GAICDM and on the computer they show to not be on the lead but trailing units “sorry”, BNSF 8852 is on the point. If anyone is still interested in seeing them today the train is ordered out of Creston at 1630 heading towards Lincoln. Unfortunetaly they will not be in Lincoln until after dark.
If anyone still wants to know when the others come out let me know and I will keep track and post were they are located and other information.
5 more units came through here today in Sarnia, #8386, 9382, 9383, 9376 and 9374. trhese units were trail a pair of BNSF units too boot a Dash9 an da SD40-2, so seve BNSF units all in one train, ironically this wa sa CN train, possilby #395, they left around 3 pm estearn time.
Last time I checked the SD70ACe was labled as “SD60M” and called the ES44DC “GP39V” on BNSF’ computer. I think there’s a few things wrong with that. Anyway, the units I was talking about was 9370-9372 which were in Sarnia, ON Canada just hours before bnsfengineer’s post…so in no way were those particular units in Cicero, no way!!! As for the other units, they might have been at the time of his post I never knew much about them, just 9370-9372.
Saw four of the new ones leading a westbound train of empty coal cars, passing through Ottumwa, IA at 3:45 PM today. Whether you like the paint scheme or not, they sure are shiny. Sorry but I didn’t think to catch the numbers.
