I concur with the others - this new format is just disapointing and is not much of an improvement. There was nothing really wrong with the old one. Navigation is much worse - where are the pages? How do I get to page 11 in the Diner for instance? It is just so sad to come back to something you really enjoyed and find radical changes, but not for the better.
I’m slowly getting used to the new format and we probably won’t even give it much of a thought in a couple of weeks or so. I do wish the topics were on a single line so that you don’t have to do so much scrolling. [:(]
You can access the pages by going into the thread. The page buttons are located at the top of the post page. Granted, it isn’t as convenient as having them listed for each thread on the main thread page. The Latest post link still takes you to last post of any given thread.
