Well after months of not being able to access the old forum, I’m glad to see a new one has been started. Hopefully traffic will pick up in this new forum and you can talk a lot of toy trains.
We are excited to have everyone back! We welcome feedback and suggestions about the new forums.
Finally! But is anybody left?
I finally got in, but I’m still trying to figure out what I’m doing.
Same here! Very confusing to figure out.
I’m still here! So this is the new forum?
Let’s see how it rolls!
Wondering how many have died off during the hiatus?
It appears so. I couldn’t access the old forum for months when my password got deleted by accident. Dealt with customer service and they said it was not possible to log back in. They said a new Forum was coming out in december.
I’m already seeing new names – that might be old names with new credentials. Hope I can figure out where everything is going to go in the new thread structure…
I certainly hope to see more of the regulars showing up. Still learning the ropes on how the new software works.
Welcome back everyone! I’m excited that we have new forums and were able to migrate most of the old posts from the old software.
Hello all- finally able to get back in- I was doing routine browsing data clearing months ago, and after that I couldn’t log into my account. I still can’t, using a password, but now I have the option to log in with my E-Mail. The new UI for the forums is a little disorienting for me.
I found a new home on another forum, but I may still pop back here if I can get used to the new look.

The new forum is vastly better, I would say a “ Day and Night” difference. Many things are working now that haven’t worked in years.
I feel good things for the future of our magazines.

Hi! I’m still here! I’m still alive!
Well as Doctor Frankenstein said “It’s ALIVE!”
Glad to see it! But I don’t see a separate heading for “Classic Toy Trains.” In one in the offing or will it be aligned with another heading?
Thank you Rene! It’s great to BE back!
Indeed - updates coming to the print magazines (likely summer 2025)!
Flint, “Classic Toy Trains.” is now Toy train operating…
(Flintlock76 said) Hi! I’m still here! I’m still alive!
That’s what we were afraid of.
Good to see you back.
