new layout schematic

I am reworking a layout from a book into a double mainline. Would you all please look at this and give me your thoughts or advice on this schematic?

Do you actually have a trackplan with benchwork? That would tell a lot more than just the schematic. But I think it is a good one if you can fit it in your room and on the benchwork.

The schematic is fine. Is this a point to point (loop to loop) or is this staging to staging with a provision for continous running?

I know the layout will fit on the bench work. The layout was an HO that I am reducing to N scale. I layed out the track plan on poster board in the room. I then decided to convert it to double main line.
