any ideas for wiring for g scale and formula for scale size for buildings
I have G scale indoors. I went to a electric supply company and bought several spools of #14 wire, 2 different colors. I wired my layout in blocks with atlas selectors, 32 blocks, 2 cabs. My layout fills 3/4ths of the basement. It is 55 ft long and 26ft wide “L” shaped on “L” girder construction.
I do not plan on using LGB MTS or any other special wiring.
I have not started scenery yet and may never get that far. I am into building my own buildings in my woodworking shop. I build in 1/24 scale (1/2 inch). I have been buying Grandt Line windows and doors. The rest I cut on my saws and do clapboard construction. I build from plans, pictures and my own design. Half the fun is resolving the problems. Not like a kit where you open the box and pull out the instructions and all the pieces.
I have 1:20.3, 1:22.5, 1:24, and 1-1:29 diesel NW2 for pulling my trackman track cleaning car.
