I am not very happy with the athearn SW1500’s (CN’s). I have all three of them. The quick plug is anything but quick (one of them took 3 men to pull the plug apart). The horns got bent in shipping and not enough room to install a TSUNAMI & speaker. The price is a bit high also (Try dropping the price $20 or so).
Great products…now if we can only talk Athearn or Atlas into crafting a nice C-430 diesel in Reading or Penn Central livery there will be happy Alco people…thanks for the updates MR.
great to see improvements but would like to see newer locomotives like and updated sdp40 or sdp45 or even some uboats that aren’t seen, I know it takes new dies and all but there are just too many manufactures making some of the same locomotives
