NJ International now has new pre wired signal discs: No.#1048 Standard Head No.#1049 Clipped Head: http://www.njinternational.com/new_items.htm All I need is eight of those. They are also sold here: http://www.euromodeltrains.com/cgi-bin/search_gen.pl?company=NJ%20International&gauge=HO&mainGroup=&categoryLabel=# All I will have to do is to wire these to my Digitrax system myself and mount it on a signal bridge.
Have you figured out how to do that yet? I would definitely contact NJ International and find out if they come with wiring instructions before buying or doing anything.
Tom
[Edit: Apparent they do - i.e. at least according to this web page on NJ Internationals web site.]
You need to pay attention to the wiring shown in the documents on this page: http://ikm.digitrax.com/questions.php?questionid=1357
These show you how to wire up PRR position light signals and B&O color position lights to the SE8C.

alloboard, you could do all of the interested readers of this thread a favor and give us more detail about how you intend to wire and operate these signals and how they will be used on your layout. Don’t leave us all hanging like you did on the last thread.
If you plan to buy 8 of these signal heads, plus the other PRR signal heads that you have previously purchased, that is a lot of signals for your layout. How big is your layout, and where will these signals be placed?
These signal heads that you are thinking of purchasing consist of entirely yellow signal lights. These 3-light signals were first adopted by PRR in 1921. The photo that follows details the various signal aspects for these PRR signal heads. How do you plan to operate these various signal aspects? Will you use a series of single pole toggles? A rotary switch?
Some of the signal aspects are flashing. How will you set up the wiring for the flashing aspects of these signals?
Please give us more information on these signals and how you intend to wire them and operate them.
Rich
Edit Note: I was typing this reply to alloboard as Randy posted his reply. I now recall from the OP’s prior thread that he referenced the SE8C in his planned wiring scheme. Hopefully, he will reply and elaborate on this wiring setup.
Boy!! I don’t want to hang that long!!!
Cheers,
Frank
LOL Good One!!! Very Creative [(-D]

That’s “Rita” to you, buddy…[swg]
Tom,
That should be days, though, not hours,LOL.
Cheers, from the Hanger,

Frank,
Would it work if the picture is four days old? [;)]
Tom
Tom,
Are you telling me that these signals will work under water on my bathtub layout?
Rich
No - ONLY your jacuzzi, Rich. And that would give the NYC’s “Waterlevel Route” a whole new meaning, huh? [^o)]
Tom
Including this information, I would mention Alkem Scale models, which offered both in Nscale and HO these multi aspects signals of the PRR and some used on the N&W.

Although not PL signals I bought a few of these heads from BLMA and I have to say that they’re pretty impressive… I can’t wait to get some wired soon!
This page has some other links to signal information, too.
I like the fact that they somehow squeezed three LEDs in this little guy so the yellow indication looks great. I have some type SA heads by other makers that use the composite “yellow” by blending the red & green and it just doesn’t work for yellow. My only wish was that BLMA would have provided mast brackets but I think I can use some from Oregon for that.
Stay tuned, ED
