New steam for Sweethome Chicago

While getting the layout ready for Barrow in Furness show over the Easter weekend, I had a bit of time to paint and soundchip a few brass locos that I’ve picked up over the last couple of years

First up is a Japanese brass model of a B&O B18d 4-6-0

Next up is an Alco Models NYC B11L 0-6-0

Last up is another Alco Models, an NYC G46h 2-8-0

I still have a Sunset NYC 4-6-2 to bash about but that one will have to wait.

Jon

Very Nice !!! Good Work !!!

Jon,

You’re killin’ me with the unique NYC brass. [:P] I would love to see that 2-8-0 come out in plastic. And, although the NYC owned and operated more 0-8-0s, that 0-6-0 is mighty cute.

BTW, how well do they run?

Tom

I am in awe !

Jon,

Great work as always.

Nick

Jon,

Outstanding as always it’s just every time I view your posts I hear John Belushi & Dan Aykroyd aka Jake & Elwood Blues singing Sweet Home Chicago in my head…lol

Now you need to do another one of your outstanding videos with those brass locomotives.

I as well would like to read about how they run.

Cuda Ken

I’ll show you next week with a video, I can’t do it now as I have started dismantling the layout to take to a show in the UK.

Jon

See previous answer - video coming next week. I have an idea to show all three in the same video on caboose hops.

Jon

Looking forward to it, Jon.

Tom

Jon:

Those are beautiful–just ‘drool-inducing’, LOL! [:P]

DEFINITELY looking forward to the video!
