I am replacing the Mine Area with a large Tresile. The Layout is a 10’x16’ around the wall in HO. I would love to hear your comments both Good & Bad on what you think and if you see anything that can be approved.
Loved the pics Wolf!! So much detail to look at.I loved the baseball game going on, but you have to have one kid looking back at the tracks lol. We pass a ton of ball diamonds and there is usually ne id wathing us instead of the game.
Great layout - details galore!! The only thing I could possibly say in the slightest negative is that a couple of the buildings are not quite plumb & level - or was there an earthquake there? (cabin in the campground for one) Aside from that - GREAT!!![tup][tup]
Paint the rail and the track. Until I reread your post I thought it was N scale because the track stood out so much.
For “better” pictures, check your scenes for anachronisms. NOTE: I am not saying he can’t run equipment from different eras together, just that the pictures are more compelling when they are consistent.
Some of the weathering is a little heavy, but its not over the top, you might want to make it consistent. A little weathering on everything looks better than a lot of weathering on just a few things.
Practice your rock making skills Your grassy fields turned out really nice, as did the area around the stock pens. Put that same level of detail and care into your rocky areas and hills and it will be stunning.
Other than that the pictures and modeling was good, a lot of very good scenes. Good job.
By the way, I wanted to compliment your backdrop painting, the scattered clumps of brush came out well. The area around El Paso looks just like that.
One question.
Where in the heck are they getting those huge logs from? It doesn’t look like there is a tree, let alone a forest, on any of those hills in the background.
