New York Central RR

This is for everyone whose ever wondered about what ifs. Hey there MR, your input would be appriciated too. Here it is, If the New York Central had survived, what do you think the Passenger and Frieght engines would look like today? Let your imagination runaway and speculate…[:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:D][:D][:D]

Well,I need not to do that…At the club I go to we have a member that models NYC in modern times…Those lightening stripe wide cabs look very sharp and very believable…I am fully convince if the NYC was still around that is what their units would look like…His GP38s,38-2s,40,40-2 and his other units look believable as well.

I don’t think the NYC would have any passenger trains…since Amtrak would have taken them all. I do think the lightning-stripe scheme would have made a comeback, on everything from GP38s to Dash 9’s.
