New York museum acquires PCC car

There never has existed a line called a “trolley railroad.” Back in the days there were interurbans, steam roads, and trolley lines, etc.

Austin…yea no kidding. Who ever is writing this stuff doesn’t know differances about streetcars, interurbans and probably trolley busses as well.

I am so glad that the Museum is doing this great. I was there early on and spent a summer taking up the track from the Rochester subway. I am probalbly the last person to be able to drive the lenght of it before the overpasses were taken down. The first track out of the barn was a challage. I got photos somewhere.

Great little museum. In conjunction with NRHS museum at end of line it is worth a visit.
