Norfolk Southern Heritage Unit Tribute

Hey guys, I got tired of waiting around for the the N.S. Heritage locomotives to be produced in HO scale, so I built one myself. I got a free Broadway Limited, undecorated AC6000 and decided to turn it into a Heritage locomotive. I know the real locomotives are ES44AC’s, but this is just a tribute, or fantasy locomotive. So what does everyone think?

Very nice. I alwys liked the Lehigh Valley maroon and yellow paint scheme.

Actually half of them were ES44AC locomotives, and half were EMD SD70ACe. The Lehigh Valley unit was, indeed, an ES44AC, and you did a great job on it.

If I could model like that…

Oh well, I can’t and that is that.

ROAR

That looks very nice, parts. On a somewhat similar note, I gotta a quick glimpse of the Wabash unit, as it roared through downtown yesterday afternoon. Still waiting/hoping to see the NYC lightening stripe. [:D]

Tom

Thanks for the compliments guys. I know that there are ten GE ES44AC locomotives and ten EMD SD70ACe locomotives in the Norfolk Southern Heritage fleet. I was just referring to the Lehigh Valley Locomotive. I guess I worded the sentence wrong.

Looks great, nice work.

Parts:

It is I who worded my response less than diplomatically It was not meant as a criticism.

Very nice work.

Here is one I did a while back. Had to do it twice as they changed the nose art just after I got the decals on.

Its all good Phoebe Vet.

Nice job. Looks like you got the right model GE locomotive. Who is the manufacturer of that model?

that loco looks absolutely gorgeous.

The GE ES44AC is an intermouintain model
