Does anyone know if Norfolk Southern’s southwestern mississippi line from nicholson to john c. stennis space center is still open? i see it listed in spv’s comprehensive railroad atlas of north america: southern states, and it says o/s along the line. is there anyone that lives by the line in question that could tell me is the line still being used or is it dormant? Also would like to know what commodities are or were hauled on the line.
