A wonderful tribute to a wonderful leader in the railroad industry! We love Mr. Moorman, and will be continually reminded of his contributions by naming this yard.
Well deserved. Congratulations Wick!
Mr. Moorman’s desire for employees and the public to recognize Norfolk Southern history with actions including the Heritage Diesels and the 21st Century Steam program and his years of excellent service to Norfolk Southern now honor him with Moorman Yard, a fitting tribute to a lifetime railroader.
Well deserved honor. Congrats
I agree congratulation Mr. Moorman hope you have a great retirement.
Congratulations to a great man that really made the right decisions for Norfolk Southern. The bonus is he saw the value of steam power and brought back a better, more sustainable steam program, vesus just dropping it like David Goode did.
It’s a nice honor for a truly nice man who was a great leader for NS. I wonder if something along the ex-Southern wouldn’t have been a better tribute? Maybe the new intermodal terminal in Birmingham or Memphis?
Congratulations Mr. Moorman!
