I think the best line is Atlas track due to its durability and overall cost. It only cost me $200 dollars to get enough track for my layout (Its a 4X8 (With Customline turnouts)). I’m sure others will agree with me too.
For future reference, try to make the title of the thread match the thread it self (The title would currently make people think you are talking about getting/having an NS SD40-2).

If you don’t already know, there are different “codes” of track.(code 100, code 83, code 70)
This refers to the height of the rail. Make sure whatever you pick is all the same code.
The code 100 will have the lowest price.
