Share Derailment at Seweckley, PA Jul 02, 2014 At approximately 1:43pm this afternoon, Norfolk Southern empty unit train 65Z hit the rear of Intermodal train 25Z-01 at Seweckley, PA (East of Conway, PA). There was no damage observed to any customer loads or equipment. Train 25Z-01 (Erail and Morrisville traffic destined to Chicago 47th) incurred a 3 hour and 30 minute delay and train 21J-02 (Rutherford to Chicago 63rd) is expected to incur about 1 hour of delay moving through the site. Two of the three mainline tracks are back in service and we expect minimal impact to any other Intermodal trains.
