Let me start off by saying I am a HO scaler. My fathers collection of Lionel trains includes a really nice NYC E-7 AA set of recent vintage. Does anybody currently produce Lightning Stripe passanger cars that I could use with these engines. I plan on running this on a loop of 0-72 Lionel scale rail that I use to run the 700e on. Dad also willed that to me along with the rest of his Lionel and Hy-rail collection. He has a set of really short NYC smooth sided passanger cars, but I want some cars that don’t look really stubby next to the near scale E-7s. I could go with a wider radius if needed.

MTH and Lionel also make versions of this in either the heavyweight or streamline versions. But you will have to hunt them down on E-bay or at online dealers.

Deputy has given you a good lead as with Williams’ scale size passenger cars, especially N.Y.C. with the Lightening Stripe.

They’re beautiful and also nicely detailed.

I would like to get their Pennsylvania RR. Broadway Limited pass. cars.

Thanks for the fine link, they appear to be exactly what I was looking for. I serched the internet for two nights, to no avail. I never even considerd Williams, I thought they went out of business, but I am ignorant when I get out of HO. I will go to my LHS and order them. Thanks again.

Paul: One other suggestion. If you don’t mind ordering online, you can usually beat the hobby shop price by quite a bit. Ma and Pa Junction has them for $189.00.

They are good folks to deal with. They also have 2-car addon packs to give you a 6 car passenger set.
