O scale Pump House, Pump, Engine and Gate Valves

Like the subject says … I am in the middle of building a Pump House and details in O scale. No roof yet … or doors … or steps … yadda yadda …

I built an engine and pump. They are mostly finished … will add minor (delicate) details after the rough work is completed.

Wanting to plumb the Pump House I scratch-built some 6" Gate Valves. Here they are mounted on toothpicks for painting.

I’m waiting for the piping/fittings from Plastruct. In the meantime … I wanted to see how they would look in the Pump House … so I just “stuck 'em in” … still attached to the toothpicks.

Nice work. One of the plusses about O scale is you can see such things easily.

Be sure to take it over to the Classic Toy Trains forums so they can enjoy it as well as us smaller scalers.
