I have taken an interest recently in building Ambroid wooden passenger cars, Combines and Baggage cars. Some of the kits I’ve purchased came with the Old Central Valley (T-25) 4 wheel passenger car Trucks, some haven’t. Central Valley doesn’t make these trucks anymore (what a shame because they are fantastic). Does anyone know of a good sub that can be used in place of these Central valley Trucks? I’ve looked thru my Walthers catalog, but many of the listings don’t have pictures, so it’s difficult to actually see what you’re buying. I’ve seen a few of the Central Valley trucks selling on E-Bay, but they get pretty pricey.
I agree, they were great. I wish someone made the line in S scale.

Most of Walthers trucks have photos. Get to them through the ‘advanced search’, selecting Couplers/Trucks from the drop-down category menu, HO scale, Walthers as manufacturer, leave the rest blank.

Those will have to work. I still wish that Cantral Valley would bring back their line of trucks though, but the Walthers one will have to stand in for the time being…
