ok, i was kinda anxious to post these so youll have the forgive the lack of couplers and grabirons/stirrups. the design is for a 16 feet gondola for general freight hauling. construction is all wood and only commercial parts are trucks and couplers ( when i do apply them…). I followed the same basic direction as for the flat but added the sides. I was going to use strips of the same material as the car flooring but after tedious cutting and frustrations, i decided to use popsicle sticks. the stakes are matchsticks.
the floor is the same methos i used previously by scoring the piece of flooring with a saw to give the effect of individual planks. these 2 shots show the inside and the floor
