Open houses season

Maybe with the up coming issues, Marc H. could republish his “ethics of open houses”
Help folks to remember how to act at open houses.
Save some of us from looking like old grouches…[}:)][;)]

Be curtious and keep your Kids on a leash… so to speak of course[;)]

Marc’s, right; although some might have considered it as mad dog rambling, the man’s absolutely right. Thanks Marty for reminding us! Our club is planning an open house tour for end of June, and I know what it means to some, I even had some wires pulled by a 3 year old and it took a couple of days to fix because after original installation they were under the water of the pond! Grrrrrr!!!

I had made copies of it once to hand out to some visitors who were not used to GRRs. Most of the time other GRRs are ok, its strangers to the hobby that need help.
Track hogs I just pull their train into a siding and let others run.

MARTY
IT was real nice on saturday, 50* i was checking my track and working on ballast, and began to run some trains, before you know it, i had 6 people stop that were driving by and ask to come in ,the one person said he had a small out side track, for an hour we talked GRR’S, MOST OF THE PEOPLE LIVE 50 MILES FROM ME . and none gave me any problem, they thank me and said they were glad i left them come in , it gave them some ideas. No open house for me, got tooooooooo much work to do around the place to do this spring, Gotta clear out the Deady Man Eating Triffids growing in my back yard first!

Besides with a trackage totaling a whoping 85 feet, I think it would be a very short visit![:D][:P][;)][X-)][D)][(-D][:-,][:-^]
