Opinion of water effect please

This is my own formula for water. Opinion? I have on my Armor!!

Hi George

It’s hard to say. Looks ok but the pic is a bit blurry in the foreground. [Am I allowed to say that?]

I like the wharf, though.

Regards,

Mike

From this view, it looks very good. I like how the light is reflecting off the waves.

What formula are you using?

I like the Wharf also, but the water in the foreground is blurry. Maybe you could take another picture from a higher angle.

I’ll second the point on the photo. You might try taking it from a higher angle. And, I really like the wharf.

Well, it LOOKS wet…

Thanks folks. The Wharf is an IHC Plastic kit. The picture was an after thougth for the fact of visiabilty of the yard beyound from a ground level chair. We are going to have roll up ramps for our chair bound people and COLOR CCTV for them to watch the trains.

Looks quite good, George, but could we have at least two other angles, vertically and horizontally? Try even more light and reduce aperture in the lense (if possible) so that we get more depth of focus, or just focus on the first 10" or so so that we can see more detail.

Please and thank-you.

As soon as I look up what you are sying in the “Digital Cameras for Dummys” I will [:)][:D] We are going to finsih the area and then shoot some better pictures.

Thats is a good thing!!

From my view it looks like you threw some saran wrap over a flat painted surface and then crinkled it a little to make it look like water. It looks good though from the angle you shot it.

Great observation but wrong I am sorry to say. It is a product I make called Klear Kote (spelling is for patent reasons) It is a co-lonk polymer that is VERY glossy when I want or can be totaly flat. I used our proucts to paint the board a VERY bark blue, which I call Dirty Water. It is then coated with the Klear Kote.

The next phase will be to give it more of that Beautiful Hudson River color as in the pier area.
