OTTS - Roger's Corners, OHIO

A very successful meeting today for OTTS at Roger’s Corners, Ohio. Blueberry brought his Blue Comet to run outside. Congratulations to Chuck on his official membership in OTTS.

Trains inside and outside were ran successfully. It was a challenge running the trains outside with all the leaves falling on the tracks. Visted historic landmark, see photo above, and many of you thought Roger’s Corners was a figment of my imagination. The best part of the meeting was when Chuck and I told Chief Eagles jokes. LOL. We also compared Chief Eagles stories. LOL Yankee barbaque for lunch. NO SWEET TEA or MALTO MEAL GRITS.

GLAD you and CHUCK had a GREAT DAY but beware of that rascal from the south?
He could be lurking?

Might blow the Buckeye special. [;)] Rebels are known to blow up Yankee Railroads. [:D] Glad you all had fun. Did the real YOUNG wife of Chuck [TOOTS] come along? [;)]

Howdy, Y’all
Yes, it was a great day. Had a lot of fun.
Buckeye has a fabulous inside layout. It gave a new meaning
to running trains. Ran my Blue Comet on the outside one.
No, Chief, wife did not come with me. Home with acne problem.
Got my official membership. Had a " fly over" of turkey vultures.
And get this… Buckeye showed me his " Duesenberg ".

Chuck

One more thing, Chief…

Buckeye has legs on his layout !!!

Legs…Hummmmmmm Are you suggesting the Chief Does’nt ?? …Tim

Yankees!!! Smart elics [would use another word but young folks on here]. [;)]

Our OTTS meeting has just adjourned. And what a great meeting it was. 12 member present and still growing.

and the main topic of the meeting was protecting our southern borders and being prepared just incase they get by Buckeye.

and of course there was running trains

More tomorrow.

Tom,
Last year I did a nose count as to how many posters were from Ohio. We must be approaching 50 OTTS members if you include our special friends from out of sate, like LAZ, Jon and Doug. I believe the NCTTS has a total membership of 2.3 only if they count that hamster that runs the power plant.

[:D][;)] Hampster has his own layout with LEGS. [:0]

It’s good to know that SOMEBODY down south is
getting something done !!!

The Northern Chapter of the OTTS is prepared for any snowstorm the Chief may send our way with the help of a re-issue postwar #53 Rio Grande Snowplow that was running on the layout last night and shown in the photo’s above. For backup there is also a # 58 Rotary at our disposal should it ever be needed.[;)][:P][8D][:D]. Laz should get one to protect the Borders of the Great State of Pennsylvania from Southern Attack Snowstorms[;)][:)] They are very handy to have around.[8D]

Sounds like you guys had a good time. Congrats to all who could make it. I have to e-mail Buckeye some time.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Sounds like you all had fun. Blueberry, is the Blue Comet an Aristo Craft set? That is the only company that I know makes it. Buckeye, nice layout, wish I could see it in person. Chief, my dad and I already stocked up on salt for winter, and the snowblower is working. I think i will load the snow in a plane and drop it on your neighborhood[;)]

I have to protect the MOTHER LAND OHIO from any infiltration from the SOUTH?
Got to get one of those snow blowers, those GIZ from the south have NO IDEAR whats up with them?
laz57

My house will be in camoflouge during the long winter. I will not become a target. Anti grit gernade guns and aircraft guns will be in the snow, and on the roof. Chiefie will not infiltrate, even if he tried[;)] Try it, I DARE you southerner.

TOM,
With that many GIZ in one place I hope there wasn’t any disiplinary actions?
