Over the shoulder: A Farmer, and Indian and a Broken Bull.

An experiment. I wanted to see if I could do it.

So I combined the Indian and the Farmer to make the guy bigger.

It wasn’t a good fit, so I used some partially set up liquid nails.

And then a little muscle on the shoulders. Notice how he relates to a standard HO figure.

A little paint, put them together. Who else would go to a layout town named Rock Ridge.

That’s a cool idea with the liquid nails! But you won’t catch me buying them in the store! Did you do buy them yourselves? How did you chose them?

The Bull I bought. It was broken and I got a good deal. The Indian was part of a cowboy and Indians set I bought at a show. It was broken as well. It was the only figure I ahve ever had that would sit a horse. The farner is from a really cheap set of figures I go when I first started the hobby. The farmer had the right hat.

Looks great, Chip! Sounds like you are having a blast.

I think you may be confusing the home improvement product Liquid Nails with something that women might use on their finger nails? Liquid Nails comes in a caulking tube, is intended to be used instead of nails to fasten things together. It is a brand name.

MONGO is coming! Hide the beans!
Will

Candygram for Mr. Spacemouse!

MY wife says I should show him from the back.

Rats…from the title, I was expecting a joke.[:p][:D]

It IS a joke, if you’ve seen Blazing Saddles! I wasn’t sure where it was going until the third picture [:D]

Mongo like candy!

so when you going to put yes/no on the bull?

I looked at those cheeks and thought about it…A man has to know his limitations.

Mongo only pawn in game of life

“Have to do with where Choo-Choo go.”

Interesting, the memorable quotes on IMDB lists two Mongo scenes that aren’t in the DVD version I have. I feel cheated.
