P2k CNW GP30s... livery?

Has anyone seen/got one of these yet? The picture on Walther’s website shows them in UP colours with CNW logo… is this how they come or are they in the correct CNW Yellow and Green?

Thanks in advance

The ones I saw on there site UP was in UP colours,& CNW Was in CNW colours. CNW units are wrong.

Thanks cpsmo.
Anyone seen actual models yet? Are they correct?

CNW are not 804,&806 should have a light on the low hood.like this

or a plate covering where the light went.like this

David,

I bought two (B&O) a couple weeks ago. I’m new to the hobby and don’t have my layout up yet. The benchwork is up though!!! They look good to me. They come with a number of parts for customization and the instrucion manuals are pretty well written. I got the DCC/sound units. Hope this helps some.

Jerry

The livery on the P2K CNW GP30s is the livery only ex CGW units wore. A few of the number proto is doing are correct for CGW, but a few aren’t, so they would be in regular CNW paint.

No there not, again CGW had light on the low hood !

Alrighty then. But you know, it’s quite possible a few could’ve had their lights moved.

Read my early post and click on the second link. You will a unit with lights that had been removed.

cspmo I’ve been trying to get your first and second links and they don’t work… would you re-post them please? As I’m ignorant of CGW prractice and what happened to them when they went into CNW is the grey yellow livery correct? Did they stay grey/yellow?
Thanks

If the links are not working just go www.cnwhs.org click on photos due a search on gp 30.

They were never grey & yellow that’s UP colors. They were green & yellow. are you talking about CNW or UP?

I sure hope P2K will produce a GP30 decorated for CGW. The only other option is the Overland Brass GP30 for $790[sigh]

Or paint one yourself .

P2K would be hard to paint because P2k is so detailed. I’ve got an old Spectrum GP30 that I’m going to paint for CGW but the Spectrum won’t be the easiest to convert to DCC.
