Hello everyone,
It has been pretty hectic being CEO of the five different rail companies operated by the Range Steel Co., Mt Isa Rail and Mining, GDRMCo, GDRM&MCo and Mine Rail so I thought I could have a vice CEO aswell, maybe Junctionfan. The GDRM&MCo has sold the rail subsiadry to GA and the new name is Pacific North Queensland and new positions are available. These are:
VP of Motive Power and Leasing
VP of Transportation
VP of Security and Legal Services
VP of Intermodal and Development
VP of Development
VP of Mining Commodities
VP of Tourism and Public Relations
VP of Real Estate and Property Management
VP of Research
VP of Supply Logistics
VP of Marketing and Customer Services
Who would like to join. All those who have joined GA can join PNQ (this is not Pacific National Queensland)
You will not have to move to a different country so have fun!
Just curious what gauge(s) these are…some standard, some narrow?
With all of those “stuffed shirts” how you gonna make any money? I think you need to “lose” a few or more VP positions. [:(] Remember the old phrase about “Too many chiefs and not enough Indians?” [:D]
Have Fun.
Oh and who is going to “Train” all of those new people? [;)] [:p] [:D]
I think Trainfinder/Kissmy[:(!] should be “Chief Cell Tester” and could also be in control of Q A of Boxcar Ride Quality. [:0] [B)] [}:)] He can also be Chief Can Collect along the right of way and wear one of those nice “orange” jumpsuits. [}:)] [}:)] [}:)]
All in favor say , “Honk Honk” and kick him in the caboose. [:p] [}:)] [;)]
HONK<HONK!!![:D][}:)]
[:-^]
HONK! HONK! HONK! HONK!
HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNK!!!
If you aren’t a Pacific National subsidiary (yet) why are you using their colours and logo style? I’d watch out, ATN and Freight Australia have gone.
I’m told the new PNs will have a different colour scheme (already) to the recent blue and yellow (which are Australia’s national colours, not to be confused with the sporting colours of green and gold).
Peter
The Pacific Nort Queensland paint scheme and logo are based on the PacNat Queensland paint scheme and logo. Australian Nation no longer exists as I’m told.
PNQ merged with my Freight Australia from my Rail America purchase and also the Australian Railroad Group Pty Co. (AGR) owned by the Genesse and Wyoming purchase.
I think that would keep us from disappearing wouldn’t it?
I think so
ATN =Australian Transportation Network, the operator of Tasrail, part owned by Tranz Rail New Zealand which was in turn owned by Canadian National who bought it from Wisconsin Central. Toll, a part owner of Pacific National bought Tranz Rail from CN and Pacific National bought the rest of ATN. ATN operated one standard gauge grain train of 44 cars in NSW and Victoria. This train still runs with GT26C-3s (like SD-40-3s) still (so far) in Wisconsin Central colours - it was seen on Saturday!
So PN own the 3’6" gauge in Tasmania, as well as the 5’3" gauge in Victoria.
ARG own the 3’6" gauge in South Australia and Western Australia, and the non interstate Standard Gauge in those states and effectively in the Northern Territory.
ARG really wanted to buy Freight Australia but were well outbid by PN. The first PN blue Victorian loco, rebuild XR 555 has just appeared!
While QR (as Interail) and ARG operate in NSW, PNQ in Queensland will be very interesting, since they have a big customer for container traffic.
Interail have taken over the Chris Rees (CRT) traffic from FA since the PN takeover, and we are waiting for them to get their own locomotives, since the Chicago Freight Car Leasing ELs are getting boring.
