What color paint do I use when painting windshields on vehicles and boats?
I would paint windshields either a gloss black or very dark blue.
Yep. modlerbob is on it. Any of those vehicles with solid windshields or back glass look a whole lot better painted black or a very dark blue. The few that I have, I paint black. I’ve seen folks try to do the “sky reflection” look and it generally doesn’t come out too well.
Testors also makes a spray-on window tint. Sprayed on from the inside, it can give the hint of seeing inside the vehicle, but not truly allow you to see there’s nothing inside.
