Paint match for older Atlas (japan) D&H RS-11

I have an older Atlas RS-11 in D&H “Lightning Stripe” scheme. I need to touch up some areas, but none of the “D&H grays” that I have are anywhere near the greenish-grey hue of the model. Has anyone come up with a homebrew formula to match this color or know of a color on the market that is a dead-on match?

OK…so I’m resurrecting this ancient thread because I answered my question 15 years ago, but never posted the answer here. I had the need to match this color again, so I’m posting now. I could not find any stock color that matched the AtlasKato D&h gray. By trial and error I figured out that a 1:1 mix of Apple Barrel 20652e Spring green (gloss) and Apple Barrel 21983e (satin) Timeless gray come close enough for my eye. Apple Barrel paints are readily available at most Walmart. I hope this helps some D&H modeler down the road!
